LA Bloggers Meet-Up?

I know of few of you have already coordinated a meet-up, but would you guys be interested in doing this more regularly?

I've personally never met any of my blogger friends, so I have no idea how it works (where, what, etc.).

I'm not exactly volunteering to co-ordinate one because I'm not the best when it comes to organization. But if it's something you guys are interested in, I'm all for it.

Please reply if you're 1) interested in a meet-up, 2) what/where you would like to do, 3) who you would like to meet so that we can harass them into joining.

We're actually testing out this this Saturday (Oct. 25) to see how fit the bar I work at is for this purpose.

Wow, what an awkwardly worded sentence.

Either way, I am able to book blogger take-overs at this bar (closed events! guest lists! DRINK DISCOUNTS!), which is in LA's Little Tokyo.

I'll post here how it goes and see if we want to try a bigger version of an LA blogger meetup. And come to think of it... what better place to gather the LA bloggers than the currently-being-reborn downtown?

Nico's bar will work great, as far as I'm concerned. How many people will it hold, NIco? I figure that's good to know. I doubt we'll get more than code restricts, but we can always hope anyway.

Also, I second that it's a good location. Downtown is a nice spot, and the bar is, especially as far as bars in this place go, pretty easy to find. I figure if I didn't get too lost, most people won't get too lost. :-P
